Hi dolls- been a few. I was away traveling and honestly, I needed a vacation. With spring training right around the corner, I needed some quality R&R with my man. But trust me, I didn’t forget about you.
Now, Let’s Talk FASHION.
The Golden Globes took center stage last night and so did some of the prettiest dresses on earth. Here is my countdown for my top 5 looks, a few honorable mentions, and of course- who was the best dressed COUPLE of the evening!? Now, let’s get started!
5. Lea Michelle wearing Elie Saab
I loved the white halter strap and beautiful sequins and beaded details. And pairing anything with emeralds, for me, is a list maker.
4. Jessica Alba wearing Oscar de la Renta.
From the color to the perfect lip and that amazing clutch…. this was hit. I love bright colors on the red carpet. Standing out is always a must, and Jessica nailed it!
3. Katherine McPhee wearing Theyskens’ Theory
I absolutely LOVE a plunging neckline. I also loved that she was very dimensional looking in this frock. Looks like this is a trend in 2013…. I am all about it.
2. Kate Hudson wearing Alexander McQueen
I cannot begin to describe my love for this dress. I absolutely am obsessed with the plunging neckline mixed with the high golden and glitz collar. I love how the long sleeves frame her body. It was a really hard choice between Number 1 and Number 2- But either way, I definitely NEED this dress.
1. Michelle Dockery wearing Alexander Vauthier Couture
If you got it- flaunt it, baby. I love high collars and gold and white are a total must. This dress looks so hyper glam but also easy to wear. Her long gams set up the white bottom so well. If I had her shape, I would never take this off! Way to go Michelle! This look is unbelievable!
My honorable mentions are extremely noteworthy as well.
Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy
Hayden Panettiere in Roberto Cavalli
And of course, the beautiful Julianne Hough in Jenny Packham at the after party!
And last but DEFINITELY not least- on to the best dressed couple of the night. This is always my favorite. Granted- I absolutely love seeing all of the women in their amazing gowns, but now that I have a man on my arm, I LOVE to see how couples pull it together.
DRUMROLL please…….
The best dressed couple award goes to….. ORLANDO BLOOM and MIRANDA KERR. (and no, it is not because I was just in London and Australia). Look at how stunning this couple is! WOW!
And let’s give you one more to drool over in case you weren’t convinced…
And that about wraps it up…. check bag tomorrow for my latest blog on my newest Aussie obsession and who I thought had the best clutch at the Golden Globes.
